The S121 has the ability to bring audio/CV signals from the different voices of a polyphonic patch to 16 outputs for you to process instead of relying totally on the automatic poly system in SoloRack. For example, suppose that you want voice 1 to have a phaser effect but want voice 2 to have a reverb, while voice 3 has no effect. Here is an example preset that demonstrates the S121 in action:
Notice that the Poly in patch point has to be connected to a module that has polyphony ENABLED (right click menu). Otherwise the module will not work as intended. The counter part of the S121 is the S120 which does exactly the opposite job.
